Together we will enhance your true strengths so you can be your authentic self and thrive!

I am a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree with a Clinical Specialization. I primarily work with individual adults (18+) and youth (10+) clients.

I have experience working with diverse populations who are experiencing mental wellness concerns such as anxiety, depression, occupational stress, life transitions, trauma, intergenerational trauma, emotional regulation, grief, and loss, neurodivergence (ADHD) and more. My specialities are working with frontline staff, women with neurodivergence and youth ages 18-25.

My 20 years of experience working with marginalized populations in various public sector areas such as Children’s Services, Income Support and for First Nations Agencies helps me understand that each persons’ experiences are unique. It is important for me to destigmatize access to mental health supports, as no one is immune from mental injury.

It is near and dear to my heart working with people who are neurodivergent.

Raised by a parent with significant mental illness and having navigated my own experiences with mental health challenges and neurodivergence, I deeply understand the complexities and impacts of mental health. As a neurodivergent person myself, I can understand the guilt and shame one can feel from years of trying to fit into a neurotypical world. My experiences allow me to facilitate the therapeutic support that fits each person’s unique experiences.

I love engaging with youth and adults to help them to see their potential.

My professional and volunteer experience has contributed to a passion for working with youth 18-25. I understand the struggles they face, especially post pandemic. In my practice, the challenges that I have seen young adults face include career decisions, academic struggles in post secondary, stress, shame, guilt and feelings of loss with no sense of belonging.

Additionally, I have worked with youth 14-19 years in the area of sport performance to enhance their mental skills and build their self-confidence.

I also understand that adults face various challenges throughout their lifetime. This is the human experience. I walk alongside so you do not have to face them alone. I have worked with countless adults on navigating life transitions associated with parenting, family dynamics, grief and loss.

I provide a safe, secure space for you to explore your feelings.

I understand that each person and their journey is unique, therefore I believe in a client centered integrative approach to therapy. To fit the distinct needs of each of my clients, I employ different modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), with a trauma informed, strengths-based lens.

With the understanding that everyone’s experiences are different, I draw from both my personal and professional background, along with years of formal education, to address the effects of trauma. I strive to shift the narrative from one of deficit to one of resilience. I’m here to support you in exploring your mental health journey and facilitate your healing process.
