I know it can be frustrating and stressful when learning seems more difficult than it needs to be- you don’t have to do it alone! I am passionate about providing assessments that are tailored to your unique needs. My expertise and interest lie in assessing and addressing the unique needs of school-age children within educational and clinical settings. I have training and supervision in conducting psychological assessments in the areas of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Intellectual Disabilities, Specific Learning Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Illness Anxiety, Trauma-Related Stress Disorder, Adjustment Disorder, and Depression.
Working in collaboration with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers is a key step towards finding the support that fits your needs. I use my clinical knowledge, and extensive experience working in school and healthcare settings to navigate these dynamic systems.
This assessment will provide you with practical strategies that can be implemented in your routine and provide a sense of direction on how to approach your academic goals. In our time together, I am open and flexible in meeting your expectations for the assessment. I help you make sense of the results and a plan to move forward. Many of my clients would describe me as a compassionate therapist with a direct communication style- so less ‘psycho-babble’.
